The Raseel Charitable Association is a Palestinian organization Registered in the Palestinian Interior Ministry founded in 2017, to provide treatment and rehabilitation for children with behavioral disorders in general , Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Learning in particular, in the West Bank. The idea of establishing this Association stemmed from some voluntary efforts made by professionals who were familiar with the situation of treatment and rehabilitation, which finds a high costs of rehabilitation besides the lack of resources in west bank . The idea, of the existence of a qualitative body where developed, to skip the lack of talent and limited rehabilitation centers, in addition to the costly follow-up treatment offered to the public. The Association is composed of four treatment and rehabilitation units: evaluation and assessment unit, autism rehabilitation unit, learning disabilities unit and awareness and guidance unit. The Association will provides treatment and rehabilitation programs for children with ASD and learning difficulties at different levels through the utilization of the most advanced treatment methods used globally such as the sensory rooms and the e-communication devices in addition to enhancement and empowerment tools for children with autism. The Association also provides a safe environment for children such as well-equipped rehabilitation rooms, professional expertise and intensive programs of individual sessions. At the families’ level, through a team of professionals, the Association holds group awareness meetings and other session to develop their communication and outreach skills with their children with ASD. Moreover, the Association conducts a number of follow-up and evaluation activities including field visits to the families across the governorates. At a national level, the Association prepares programs and studies on the autism cases across the West Bank governorates aiming to network with the largest number of rehabilitation professionals and stakeholders and seeking to establish a national treatment and rehabilitation framework.
